Terms and Conditions for Players and Players Parents

By registering on KickConnect and engaging with a coach through the platform, you (the player or parent/guardian of a player) agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before using the platform.

1. Platform Role

  • KickConnect is an online platform that connects players with independent soccer coaches for training sessions. KickConnect provides a marketplace for these services but is not responsible for the conduct, quality, or safety of the training sessions.

  • The coaches are independent contractors, and KickConnect does not employ or supervise them.

2. Responsibility for Sessions

  • All soccer training sessions are arranged between the player (or their parent/guardian) and the coach. KickConnect does not control or take responsibility for the sessions themselves.

  • Any risks associated with participation in soccer training sessions, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, or other unforeseen events, are fully assumed by the player and/or their parent/guardian.

3. Liability Waiver

  • By participating in any soccer training sessions arranged through KickConnect, you agree to release, waive, and discharge KickConnect, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability for any injury, illness, loss, or damage that may result from your participation in the training sessions.

  • You acknowledge that soccer training, like any physical activity, involves inherent risks, and you voluntarily assume these risks.

4. Parental Consent for Minors

  • If the player is a minor (under 18 years of age), the parent/guardian agrees to these terms on the player’s behalf and ensures that the player complies with all applicable safety requirements during the sessions.

  • The parent/guardian is responsible for ensuring that the coach and player maintain clear communication regarding session expectations and player safety.

5. Insurance

  • KickConnect does not provide any form of insurance coverage (medical, liability, or otherwise) for players or coaches. It is the responsibility of the player and/or parent/guardian to ensure they have adequate health and accident insurance.

  • Any disputes regarding injury or other claims should be addressed directly with the coach, as KickConnect is not liable for accidents or injuries that may occur during sessions.

6. Communication with Coaches and KickConnect

  • KickConnect provides tools to facilitate communication between players, parents, and coaches. However, the actual scheduling and conduct of sessions are solely the responsibility of the player (or their parent/guardian) and the coach.

  • Any disputes regarding scheduling, payments, or session quality must be resolved between the player/parent and the coach directly.

  • I confirm that I want to receive content from KickConnect or Beyond Technique Football School Pty Ltd using any contact information I provide.

7. Payments and Refunds

  • Payments for coaching sessions are processed through the KickConnect platform. Once a session is booked and paid for, KickConnect will release payment to the coach after the session has been completed, minus any applicable fees.

  • KickConnect is not responsible for issuing refunds for canceled sessions unless explicitly stated in the cancellation policy provided by the coach.

  • Any disputes regarding payment should be addressed to KickConnect, which will investigate the issue and determine an appropriate resolution based on its policies.

8. Conduct and Safety

  • The player and/or parent/guardian agree to follow the coach’s instructions regarding safety and conduct during training sessions.

  • The player and/or parent/guardian understand that they are responsible for ensuring the player is in appropriate physical condition to participate in soccer training sessions.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes or issues regarding the coaching services should be addressed directly with the coach. KickConnect is not responsible for mediating or resolving disputes between the coach and the player/parent, but we may assist in facilitating communication if necessary.

  • KickConnect reserves the right to remove users (players, parents, or coaches) from the platform if they violate these terms or engage in behavior that is deemed inappropriate or harmful

10. Changes to the Terms

  • KickConnect may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Users will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
